Lavender Heart Cookies

Thanks to my sweet that I have the chance to savour both the expression of love and love herself. I mean I treasure all the cookies my sweet bake for me and very importantly she herself who accompany me in this savoury treat. Lavender is both the smell of the cookies and our smell of the love: romantic,calm and deep. This slightly salty and buttery cookie lies in love in both my tongue and in my heart.

Rasberry Jam Cookies

My granny produce these traditional rich sugared cookies for my sweet, wanting my sweet to know that she can bake for my sweet the favourite rasberry fruit on her cookies. My sweet is so delighted and touched that for the first time my sweet finished every bit of these and asks for the recipe to open a retail business in one month's time.

Caramel Bars

For a high energy morning and before every physical engagements, I choose this high energy bar that is sweet to my taste. I love to include all the nuts and multi grains when free for a really highly charged meal. As a caramel lover, I cannot stop at two but tend to have twice the normal portion. What I find another plus point for this cookie bar is that can last for a month if I keep dry in my kitchen top.

Blue Berry Shortbread

This is the cookie I give to friends as gifts because they look so pretty and saleable. They are very soft and mildly sweet to me. With the dark blue plate, they look more mouth watering than ever and this is my favourite presentation that appetizes my palates. I strongly go for this during picnics to share with a few friends and tea breaks fo a light snack; just simply satisfying.

Pizzelles

I find a lightly snack that delights me and to share with others is the Pizzelles. Hear that this is from Italy which makes it more interesting; very European that is. What I like is I can break it into equal 6 pieces and share with my friends and to make it a spread, I break them and squeese whip cream in between and have it like a vanilla cake.

Rich Peanut Butter Cookies

IN contrast to the previous post, this is a very fattening and richly flavoured cookie for a day I would just indulge on feasting. However how big a stomach I possess, still I can manage only five because it really is buttery and rich, and usually I just have a meal the whole day with this over a weekend movie and have nothing else for the rest of the day.
